Clarinet (doubles bass clarinet), viola, 2 cellos, percussion

SYNOPSIS:

Two contrasting scenes, set two decades apart (2003 and 2023), find a woman and a man in a car, making their way in turn to two very different clinics and confronting the wounds that have arisen in the midst of their respective health crises. Each of these people in turn takes a risk in driving the other to the clinic: a crisis of friendship, the condemnations of society.
